Highlights

At the mid and upper elevations hard slabs up to six feet in depth lie upon weak faceted snow and buried November rain crusts. These dangerous slabs exist on a variety of aspects and could be triggered by the weight of a single human. Conservative decisions and good terrain evaluation and route finding skills are essential for safe travel in avalanche terrain.
