Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe. You may still be able to trigger a small avalanche in isolated areas of wind-drifted terrain that received about a foot of snow last weekend. Small Loose Wet avalanches might occur on steep sunny slopes late in the day.

A small avalanche can be dangerous when combined with terrain traps such as a cliff, rocks, gullies, or dense trees below a steep slope. Start and end your day early to reduce the chance of being caught in an avalanche. Avoid wind-drifted slopes at high elevations in consequential terrain.
