Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are free of avalanche danger. If you were to trigger a small avalanche, it would be where you find a pocket of stiff wind-drifted snow on a steep alpine slope.

The holiday storm is expected to bring only an inch or two to the forecast area. This will not be enough to increase the current hazard.
