The more recent wind slabs can still be released in some cases above approximately 2900 m. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. The prevalence of the avalanche prone locations will increase with altitude. In the other aspects and at lower altitudes the avalanche danger is low (level 1). From the afternoon the weather will be very mild. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise to gradual softening of the snowpack below approximately 3000 m. As a consequence of warming only isolated mostly small dry and moist avalanches are possible below approximately 2700 m.

The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information that has been collected in the field. At low and intermediate altitudes only a little snow is lying. Above approximately 2700 m snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. The old snowpack will be generally well bonded.

Significant warming to 4000 m. The danger of moist avalanches will increase but remain within the current danger level.
