Avalanche Activity

In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard crust.

Individual mostly small wet avalanches are possible. Fresh wind slabs require caution. This applies on very steep slopes at elevated altitudes. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls.

Snowpack Structure

Some snow has fallen in some localities. The wind will be moderate at times over a wide area. The snowpack is wet and its surface has a strong melt-freeze crust. The meteorological conditions will bring about a gradual strengthening of the snowpack.

Tendency

The avalanche danger will persist.
