Highlights

Saturday's storm didn't change avalanche conditions much and the overall avalanche danger is LOW. You will want to pay attention to any fresh drifts that form during the day today as they may be sensitive to a person. If one of these release, it won't be all that large but could knock you around.

    Saturday's storm didn't add enough snow to increase the avalanche danger. It's basically "dust on crust" or dust on facets depending on your location. Your biggest concern today would be finding a fresh wind drift or slab that could release. The most likely places would be just below high elevation ridgelines on the more east facing slopes. It's not very likely that people will trigger avalanches today and they would be fairly small also.

Snow and Weather

Current Conditions: Saturday's storm did improve riding conditions but only slightly. There just wasn't enough to cover up all the irregularities of the old snow surface. Temperatures only got into the teens on Sunday. Wind from the northwest has been generally light.

Mountain Weather: We'll see a bit more sun today with slightly warmer temperatures topping out in the upper teens. It looks like the wind from the northwest will bump up in speed slightly with moderate speeds along the upper ridges. No significant storms are in sight.
