During the day: On extremely steep slopes individual mostly small moist snow slides and avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation,, in isolated cases also on shady slopes, in particular at the base of rock walls. Weak layers in the old snowpack can be released in isolated cases and mostly by large additional loads. Individual avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found in particular on extremely steep shady slopes at high altitude. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.

As a consequence of mild temperatures and solar radiation the snowpack consolidated. Field observations show good snowpack stability at the base of rock walls. Less snow than usual is lying. On sunny slopes below approximately 2300 m from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. The conditions below approximately 2500 m are spring-like. This applies in all aspects. The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will soften during the day. Faceted weak layers exist in the snowpack on north, northeast and northwest facing slopes. In the last few days hardly any more avalanches occurred naturally.
