Highlights
The avalanche danger is still generally LOW this morning but may increase to MODERATE as the new snow stacks up today. Pay attention to what is going on with the new snow looking for cracking and point release loose snow slides. I'm not anticipating much activity today but don't let your guard down.
Snow and Weather
A storm moved in overnight and we have a few inches of new snow in the mountains. The flow is from the southeast which is not usual. Wind speeds are moderate. Temperatures have dropped into the mid 20s along the higher terrain.
We should see snow through the day today and through Friday. Totals should be in the 10 to 15 inch range. We'll see a lull in the storm on Saturday with one more little shot of snow into Sunday which should bring another 5 inches or so.
