Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will remain well bonded and stable throughout. Greatest accumulations will be on North-West through North to East facing coire back walls, ridge flanks and plateau areas above 900 metres. Below this altitude the ground will be mostly bare with ribbons of soft stable snow remaining in areas such as shallow gullies and steep banks. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Remaining mild with freezing levels above the summits for the duration of the forecast period. Strong to gale force Westerly winds will gradually decrease through the night, to become light South-Westerly in direction during the day. Apart from hill fog and mist no precipitation is expected. Observed Weather Influences: Strong to gale force Westerly winds with occasional light drizzle at all levels. The freezing level remained above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is mostly firm, well bonded and stable throughout with some areas covered with soft thawing snow. Greatest accumulations are on North-West through North to East facing coire back walls, ridge flanks and plateau areas above 900 metres. Bellow 900 metres, the ground is mostly bare with ribbons of soft stable snow lying in areas such as shallow gullies and steep banks. The avalanche hazard is Low.
