Avalanche Activity

The new snow will be deposited on a crust on northeast to north to northwest facing aspects.

In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. In steep rocky terrain individual loose snow slides are possible. As a consequence of the precipitation, the likelihood of moist and wet avalanches being released will increase in particular below approximately 2000 m.

Snowpack Structure

The conditions are generally favourable. In some cases new snow is lying on a hard crust.
