The early morning will see favourable conditions, but the danger of wet avalanches will increase later. Small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized natural moist avalanches are possible. In the event of an overcast night this applies in particular on steep sunny slopes. Intermediate altitudes,, in isolated cases also on very steep shady slopes. As the day progresses, a few gliding avalanches and moist snow slides are possible. Backcountry tours, off-piste skiing and ascents to alpine cabins should be concluded timely. The wind slabs of the weekend are to be evaluated with care and prudence in particular on steep shady slopes above approximately 2700 m. The prevalence of avalanche prone locations and likelihood of triggering will increase with altitude. Experience in the assessment of avalanche danger is required.

The strong wind has transported the new snow. The old snowpack will be generally stable. Less snow than usual is lying. On sunny slopes below approximately 2400 m from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. Low and intermediate altitudes: As a consequence of falling temperatures the snowpack consolidated during the last few days.

The danger of dry avalanches will decrease. The danger of wet avalanches will already exist in the early morning.
