Weather Forecast

Temperatures will begin to warm up on Sunday with winds becomming more westerly and moderate at the higher elevations. Monday is currently calling for light precip.

Avalanche Summary

A few loose dry slides from steeper terrain up to sz 1.5. On solar aspects they were running far on top of the Nov 17th crust.

Snowpack Summary

Cold temps have weakened the upper snowpack and in some areas facets are running as loose dry slides with skier traffic.. The main concern is for thin windslabs along ridge lines from recent winds and then the the buried wind slabs down 30-40cm. We have been seeing a few "Drummy" or hollow areas in our travels of late and we have backed off some features. The basal October and November crusts are closer to ground but we haven't seen any avalanche activity on this layer just yet.
