Regions

Little Yoho.

Enjoy the conditions while they last. One more day of inverted temperatures on Thursday. We will see a more "regular" weather pattern for the weekend as the high pressure breaks down.  SH

Weather Forecast

An inversion may develop for Thursday with alpine temperatures above zero and no snow with light to moderate winds. Some light snow on Friday and Saturday (~5cm in Little Yoho) with increasing W winds. The inversion will disappear on Friday.

Surface hoar is growing in sheltered locations at tree-line. Sun crusts, surface faceting and wind effect exist on various aspects in the alpine. 15-40 cm of snow lies over the Nov 27th and Nov 23rd crusts. Both of these now overly the Halloween crust/facet layer that sits 30-50cm above the ground.
