Avalanche Summary

Most of the recent avalanche problems have gone dormant, and slopes are generally safe. The lingering places you could trigger an avalanche are steep, wind-drifted slopes facing northwest to north through east. These harder slabs of snow will likely be found just below a ridgeline, a steep rollover, or along the edges of a gully. Avoiding shallow rocky spots will help increase your safety margin.
