Avalanche Summary

You can trigger an avalanche on most steep slopes where you find over a foot of new snow. One to two feet of snow will fall by sunset on Tuesday. You can expect the avalanche danger to increase throughout the day. Most of these avalanches will be small but combined with a dangerous terrain trap such as a creek, a lake, or a cliff, even a small avalanche can be dangerous.
