Highlights
At the mid and upper elevations pockets of slab up to two feet in depth and persistant buried layers of weak faceted snow exist. These pockets could be triggered in cliff areas and in steep wind loaded starting zones. With new snow and wind in the forecast the hazard will INCREASE as the day progresses. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations.
