Highlights

Hard slabs to 3 feet in depth exist on a variety of aspects at mid and upper elevations. These slabs lie on old crusts and faceted snow and backcountry users may trigger such slabs on steep slopes particularly in rocky terrain and cliff areas. Watch for sloughs developing into larger slides on sunlit steep slopes and rocky areas as the day warms.
