Highlights

At the mid and upper elevations soft surface slabs up to two feet in depth could be triggered today on steep wind loaded exposures and in cliff areas. DANGEROUS deep slabs could fail on a hard crust near the ground surface on steep wind loaded northerly aspects above 8,500. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations except for isolated pockets in steep wind loaded starting zones and on steep banks, road cuts and in cliff areas.
