Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is LOW in the morning and will increase to MODERATE in the afternoon. A mostly stable snowpack in the early morning hours will be subjected to abundant sunshine and warm temperatures which will soften the surface creating the potential for wet loose and wet slab avalanches in the afternoon. Wet slides are possible on steep sunlit aspects as temperatures warm.
