Highlights
South facing slopes at all elevations are sealed with a stiff sun crust. The buried January surface hoar layer coninues to haunt the snowpack at mid and high elevations on northwest to northeast facing slopes. Backcountry users are triggering a significant slide every day or two. Saturday three skiers on a ridgecrest above a north facing slope triggered an avalanche sympathetically in Game Creek (Idaho Drainage) and on Friday a snowmobile triggered a slide in Teton Canyon.
