Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Dense slabs one to three feet in depth formed by strong southwest and west winds lie upon a weak faceted snowpack. These slabs are likely to be easily triggered today on steep wind loaded aspects. Once triggered these slabs could step down to deeper layers or the ground.
