Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Surface slabs up to two feet deep lie in steep wind loaded starting zones at higher elevations. These slabs lie upon weak layers of faceted snow to the ground. These slabs could be human triggered today and could be crossed multiple times before an avalanche is triggered. Once triggered these slabs are likely to pull out the older weak snow near the ground.
