Avalanche Summary
Ample sun and warm temperatures will allow snow surfaces to soften through the day. You can expect generally safe avalanche conditions, but later in the day, choose less steep slopes if you find more than a few inches of wet snow. The chance of triggering an avalanche increases as the day warms and on slopes steeper than 40 degrees.
In the spring, it's often a good idea to start early and end early to find the safest and most enjoyable travel conditions.
