Avalanche Summary

Dangerous avalanche conditions exist. The most dangerous slopes face northerly and easterly directions, where the recent snow has drifted into a thick slab resting on top of weak snow near the ground. You could also trigger avalanches from a distance or the bottom of the slope. Move to slopes less than about 30 degrees without any steep terrain above you if you see shooting cracks, collapsing or recent avalanches.
