Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Soft surface slabs up to two feet deep could be triggered on wind loaded aspects. The potential remains to also trigger deep DANGEROUS older hard slabs up to five feet in depth in steep avalanche terrain particularly with larger loads such as snowmachines. If triggered, these hard to predict large avalanches would carry with them severe consequences.
