Avalanche Summary
Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. You might be able to trigger a small avalanche on wind-loaded north and northeast-facing slopes generally above 12,000 feet. If you notice a hard, hollow feel to the snow or see cracking in the snow around your feet, avoid steep slopes above terrain traps such as cliffs, where even a small avalanche can injure you.
