Glacier.
New snow and wind may be creating fresh storm slabs, human triggered avalanches are possible.
If you do head out, expect to find LOTS of rocks, logs & trees poking out.
Avalanche observations are minimal this time of year due to poor visibility and lack of field observations. If you do get out into the hills, consider posting a MIN report.
Factor in the consequence of being caught in an avalanche with all of the rocks, trees and ground so close to the surface.
There is approximately 60-80cms of snow on the ground in the Alpine and only a skiff at the trailheads. Storms are forecast to deposit 20-30cms of new snow in the next few days.
Recent heavy snow and winds have likely created pockets of stormslabs in Alpine and treeline lee features.
Expect to find hidden rocks and logs underneath the snow. Glaciers will have poor coverage with just enough snow to hide small crevasses.
