Forecast Snow Stability: The limited snowpack will have good stability throughout, remaining firm in most locations. Greatest accumulations on North through East to South-East aspects, mostly above 800 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Rain at all levels in the evening will ease to give a generally dry and cloudy day. The odd spot of drizzle or flurry of summit snow is possible. The wind will generally be a moderate to fresh Westerly and the freezing level will lower overnight to around 900 to 1000 metres through the day. Observed Weather Influences: Cloudy with hill fog, thick enough for drizzle at times. Strong South-West airflow. Mild as the freezing level remained at, or just above the higher summits.
