Avalanche Activity

The snowpack will be quite stable.

In particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls mostly small wind slabs formed. They can be released in isolated cases, but mostly only by large additional loads,.

Snowpack Structure

In some localities 5 to 10 cm of snow, but less in some localities, fell in the last three days in all altitude zones. Only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year. Wind slabs are lying mostly on the smooth surface of an old snowpack. Isolated avalanche prone weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack especially on very steep shady slopes.
