There will be a small amount of fresh snow through the day, above 700 metres on North-East to South-East aspects. These new deposits are not expected to be significant. The largest areas of older, existing snowpack, are found on North through East to South-East aspects above 800 metres in the higher coires. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: There will be some overnight rain to all levels, followed by scattered showers through Sunday, which will fall as snow above 700 metres. Very Strong South-Westerly winds, will moderate to Strong through the day and veer to Westerly. Freezing level be around summits at dawn, slowly falling to 700 metres by the end of the day. Observed Weather Influences: A cloudy day with some slight drizzle in the morning, drier in the afternoon with some brighter spells. Winds were Moderate South-Westerly on the tops. Freezing level remained above the summits, with air temperatures around 2 degrees C at munro level. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is gently thawing, well consolidated and stable. Greatest remaining snow amounts can be found above 800 metres, on North through East to South-East aspects in the higher coires. The snow here is generally softening in the warmer temperatures. The avalanche hazard is Low.
