Snødekket er generelt stabilt. Nattefrost gir hard og bærende snøoverflate. Utover dagen vil solen mykne snøen i solvendte fjellsider og små løssnøskred kan forekomme i bratt terreng.
Husk å holde trygg avstand til skavler. I områder der solen ikke tar tak, kan hardt føre gi fare for å skli og skade seg.
Snowpack Structure
Finværet med sol og milde temperaturer preger snødekket. I skjermede formasjoner høyt til fjells kan det fortsatt finnes løs ubunden snø eller myk fokksnø. I sørvendt terreng er det lite snø under 200 moh.
