Avalanche Activity

Gradual increase in danger of dry avalanches as a consequence of the snowfall.

In particular in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized dry avalanches are possible as a consequence of the snowfall. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found on steep shady slopes. In addition the small wind slabs are capable of being triggered in isolated cases.

Snowpack Structure

Over a wide area new snow. The new snow is bonding poorly with the old snowpack in many places.

Tendency

The avalanche danger will persist.
