The more recent wind slabs represent the main danger.

In particular adjacent to ridgelines in all aspects: The strong wind has transported the fresh and old snow significantly. In particular transitions into gullies and bowls places that are protected from the wind: Fresh wind slabs can in some cases be released easily, especially on very steep shady slopes. The weather will be mild. Mostly small moist and wet avalanches are possible. This applies in particular in steep rocky terrain, and at the base of rock walls.

Snow depths vary greatly at high altitude, depending on the infuence of the wind. More recent wind slabs are to be found especially areas not adjacent to ridgelines. In particular in the regions neighbouring those that are subject to danger level 1 (low) a little snow is lying in all altitude zones. As a consequence of the strong to storm force wind, a crust formed on the surface during the last few days. Towards its base, the snowpack is largely stable.

The weather will be mild. As a consequence of warming during the day and the solar radiation, the likelihood of moist avalanches being released will increase a little at intermediate and high altitudes.
