Når sola myker opp nysnøen i løpet av dagen vil enkelte skred kunne løsne av seg selv. Hold avstand til solutsatt bratt terreng og klipper.

I helgen kom det litt nysnø i fjellet, til dels i kombinasjon med sterk vind som har omfordelt snøen i stor grad. Før dette har mildvær og regn fuktet snødekket høyt til fjells. I ytre del av regionen, som ved Hammerfest, og i sørvendte sider under 150 moh, er det lite snø.

The avalanche danger increases with increasing solar warming. Where the fresh snow becomes moist for the first time or the snow is very wet, it may be easy to trigger small, wet avalanches. Recent wind slabs has had time to stabilize, and it will likely take quite a bit to trigger avalanches in theese slabs. Be aware that snow bridges over streams are opening up, and keep a good distance from cornices.
