Highlights

Generally stable conditions, but danger of small wet avalanches in sun-exposed mountainsides.

Avalanche Activity

Generally stable conditions, but danger of small wet avalanches in sun-exposed mountainsides.

Tendency

Mild temperatures and rain will further increase the water content in the snowpack. The snowpack consists largely of coarse‑grained, melt‑transformed snow that generally drains water well, but the occasional wet loose avalanche may still occur in very steep terrain. Avoid spending time in runout zones where heavy rain is falling on the snow.
