Little snow will fall in some localities. The new snow can be released in isolated cases at intermediate and high altitudes. Moist avalanches can be released, in particular by large loads, but they will be small in most cases. From the early morning in particular below approximately 3000 m there will be a gradual increase in the danger of moist avalanches. In very isolated cases the moist avalanches can be triggered in deep layers of the snowpack and reach medium size. A latent danger of ground avalanches exists, in particular on very steep grassy slopes. These avalanche prone locations are rare but are difficult to recognise.

The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust only at high altitudes and will already be soft in the early morning. Towards its base, the snowpack is faceted and weak. Avalanches can be released in deeper layers, mostly by large additional loads in isolated cases.
