Highlights

The general avalanche hazard remains MODERATE as instabilities persist in the snowpack. Soft slabs deposited by west winds and reworked by strong east winds lie upon a well developed weak layer of surface hoar and faceted old snow. Areas of slab up to 18 inches in depth could be human triggered on steep wind loaded aspects.
