Highlights

The general avalanche hazard at all elevations is LOW this morning. New snow has fallen at mid and upper elevations and lies on a rough but very hard old surface. Shallow isolated pockets of new surface slabs could be triggered this morning on very steep wind loaded paths. The avalanche hazard will raise to MODERATE this afternoon at all elevation as wet slides become possible due to sunlight and warming heating the new snow and softening the old snow surface.
