Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is LOW today at all elevations. At the high and mid elevations isolated pockets of surface slabs to 14" in depth could be triggered on Northerly aspects on very steep shaded terrain. At low elevations mostly stable snow exists. Slightly colder temperatures and stronger Northwest winds are expected to keep the snow surface cooler today, however if temperatures rise more than anticipated wet slides will become possible today on all sunlit slopes and the sensitivity of the slabs on Northerly aspects will increase.
