The general avalanche hazard for most areas west of and along the Continental Divide is LOW and is MODERATE in the upper Green River Basin which experienced greater snowfall accumulations earlier in the week. Soft surface slabs up to two feet deep in the Upper Green River Basin and in isolated pockets up to one foot deep elsewhere lie upon slick old snow surfaces and could be triggered by riders or skiers who venture onto steep wind loaded slopes. Use caution on steep slopes with significant accumulations of snow from earlier in the week.
