Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Warning is in effect for Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening for the southeastern San Juan mountains. Heavy snow and strong winds will make it very easy for backcountry travelers to trigger large and dangerous avalanches. Avalanches will also release naturally. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended during this time period.
