Avalanche Summary
A weak, shallow, discontinuous snowpack makes it hard to trigger an avalanche. If you trigger an avalanche, it would occur on a steep slope with cohesionless snow. Avalanches will be small, but they can become dangerous if they sweep you over buried objects like rocks and logs. New snow and wind will change avalanche danger going into the weekend.
