Avalanche Summary
Most slopes are safe from avalanches in the West Elks, the Raggeds Wilderness, the Flat Tops and on the Grand Mesa. Small wet loose avalanches are a concern in the late afternoon, especially on sunny slopes and in rocky areas. Roller balls, and slushy surface conditions are signs that wet avalanche activity is imminent and it's time to move to shadier slopes or exit avalanche terrain.
