Yesterday, a group of skiers remotely triggered an eighteen inch deep slab on a southeast aspect of East Angle Mountain. Numerous other natural and human triggered slides also occurred on a variety of aspects at all elevations. Careful snowpack evaluation, cautious route finding, conservative decision making and the ability to resist peer pressure will all be essential for safe travel in avalanche terrain.
