Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. New snow drifted into slabs by strong winds at upper elevations sit upon dense slabs to two feet in depth on steeper, lee slopes. These slabs could be triggered today by backcountry users on steep slopes particularly near rocky and cliff areas and have the potential to pull out older, deep layers of weak snow.
