Avalanche Summary

Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. You might be able to trigger a small avalanche in recently drifted snow at upper elevations. You can avoid this isolated concern by traveling around rounded pillows of drifted snow below ridges and in gullies. Drifted slopes above terrain traps are most worrisome, where even small slides could bury you more easily.
