Snow starting on Wednesday will be the beginning of changing conditions, but until we see over 6 to 8 inches of snow with winds drifting, snow avalanche conditions remain generally safe.

If you were to trigger a small avalanche, it would be on a steep, shady slope where the snowpack is completely cohesionless.
