Highlights

The overall avalanche danger remains LOW. There is really nothing noteworthy going on in the backcountry.

Snow and Weather

Current Conditions: Wow. The weather has been crazy mild for this time of the season. Temperatures have been into the 40s with light to moderate speed wind from the northwest. The snowpack is generally too shallow to do much winter recreating.

Mountain Weather: It'll be another day with mild temperatures and light northwest wind. Unfortunately, it looks like this trend continues through the weekend. Weather models are now indicating the high pressure ridge over our area will start breaking down next week and we're seeing some hints of possible upcoming storms. Nothing looks too significant now but at least there's a hint of change.
