Forecast Weather Influences: Gale force Easterly winds overnight ease and veer to become fresh to strong South-South-Easterlies through the day. Precipitation, heavy for a time overnight, will fall as snow above around 500 metres. Freezing level around 600 metres. Observed Weather Influences: After overnight snow above around 750 metres it was a mainly dry day. There were moderate South-Westerly winds and the freezing level was around 900 metres.
