Highlights

New soft slabs up to 30 inches deep formed by west to southwest winds lie upon good sliding surfaces. These slabs will be easily triggered by backcountry travelers and are likely to spontaneously release from very steep upper elevation avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. In steep terrain not affected by winds loose snow sluffs are likely.
